The small print for GS History Tours — how we handle your data, what cookies we use, and the terms for our walks and self-guided guides.

We process data to perform our contract with you, on the basis of your consent, and for our legitimate interest in running and improving the service (EU GDPR / Spanish LOPDGDD). You have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object. Email us to exercise these rights. You may also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
We share data only with the providers that make the service work — Airbnb, our payment provider, our email provider and our host ([Netlify / host]). We do not sell your data. We keep it only as long as needed for the purpose collected or as the law requires.
We aim to use as few cookies as possible. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working. If we enable analytics, we will use a privacy-friendly tool and, where the law requires, ask for your consent through a banner before any non-essential cookie is set. The self-guided guides run in your browser (including read-aloud via your device’s own voice) and do not track you.
Walks are booked and paid through Airbnb Experiences, and Airbnb’s terms and cancellation policy apply to your booking. Our walks are outdoor, street-level tours that involve walking and standing for around two and a half hours; please come dressed for the weather and on time. We may refuse or end participation for unsafe or disruptive behaviour. We are not liable for personal belongings or for circumstances beyond our control (weather, transport, closures).
Private walks are arranged individually. The price is agreed in advance and is subject to the availability of the partner restaurant; a [deposit / cancellation] policy will be confirmed in writing when you book.
The self-guided guides are a one-time digital purchase (€8) delivered online for your personal, non-transferable use. You may not redistribute, resell or publish the content. Right of withdrawal: because this is digital content supplied immediately, by completing your purchase and accessing the guides you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that you lose the 14-day right of withdrawal under EU/Spanish consumer law.
All text, photographs, audio and design are owned by us or used with permission and may not be copied without consent. Historical content reflects our research and interpretation; external venues, hours and prices can change without notice.
These terms are governed by Spanish law, with the courts of Barcelona competent for any dispute, without prejudice to your mandatory rights as a consumer.
